Plans for the SYLVIA DELL Leadership Academy in Haiti

In Memory of Sylvia Dell. 1912-2008

Sylvia Dell Foundation was established in early 2010 to fund the building of the Slyvia Dell Leadership Academy and the JM Dilone Haven for God’s littlest Angels orphanage in Haiti! Both projects are now underdevelopment to meet the current needs created by the recent events of the hurricane and earthquake. Founder and President, Jean-Michel Dilone donated a plot of land he inherited from his grandmother to use to build these much-needed facilities in Haiti. After Mr. Dilone’s release from an unlawful detainment of 1382 Days (film debuting soon!) in Haiti’s corrupted penal system, he came to the U.S. to start his new life. Because of his experiences he was moved to create a documentary that will serve to educate many of his people on the past and current political conditions and concerns of their country. Moreover, his vision is to use the proceeds from the documentary to help build the schools whose objective will be to develop successful, discerning, bright intellectual leaders of tomorrow. The academy will have room for 840 youths with land for sport activities such as basketball, volleyball and a theatre for the Arts and conferences aas well as medical anddental sservices.
